My career journey so far…

My career journey began whilst I was studying my Marketing master’s at Ulster University. I was working two jobs, one as a supervisor and marketing assistant for a restaurant and the other as a Marketing Executive in an agency. After graduating with a distinction in my Masters, I decided to leave my job in hospitality to pursue marketing full-time but shorty after I made this decision, I was made redundant. Losing that job made me realise how passionate I was about marketing and gave me the push I needed to encourage myself to carve a career path for myself and Part Three Digital was exactly that!

Why I Joined the Part Three Digital Team

I had been following Part Three Digital for a while and always considered it the company that would be my dream company to work at, never in a million years did I think that it would happen. There are so many reasons why I joined, but definitely at the forefront is that it is female owned and driven. I wanted to be a part of an agency that encouraged and thrived in being female driven and I could see from socials alone that Part Three Digital was that agency. In addition to this, their award-winning portfolio, variety of amazing clients and ever-growing team was something that I wanted to be a part of!

How I Make a Difference to Our Team and Clients

Having just finished my masters and having a background in hospitality is how I think I make a difference at Part Three. I have fresh insight and theory knowledge of all things marketing. The world of marketing is an ever evolving landscape and I hope that my in-depth knowledge will help keep myself and the team up to date with all the relevant theory.

In particular I think that my experience in hospitality will be how I make a difference. I have an extensive knowledge and passion of all things food and beverages, especially with many of Part Three Digital’s social media client being in the FMCG, food, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages sectors. As well as my great customer service skills.

When I am not at work, I’m…

When I’m not at work you will probably find me finding somewhere new to have brunch or trying to find the next best coffee spot. In the warmer months I’m usually paddle boarding with my friends in Ballyholme Bay and grabbing some pub grub nearby afterwards.

I also love a relaxing costal path walk with my two besties, (my dogs) Biddy and Elvis!

Favourite things about my job…

This might be quite a long list but to name a few, here are some of my favourite thing about my job. I love being creative and being able to have fun doing it. I love that I get to be a part of being able to help our clients tell their stories and and be a driving force in helping their ideas come to life. I also absolutely love being part of such a dynamic team, full of super creative and knowledgeable women who want to see each other win.

I also absolutely love shooting content and creating video content for social media, it’s just such an exciting and engaging way to create content for clients… it’s also pretty fun too!

My career goals and hopes for the future…

My main career goals are growth and being able to absorb as much industry knowledge as possible. I would love to become a specialist in a particular field, maybe Social Media. I am in such a lucky position that my career is just getting started so I have so much room and time for growth and experience, I can’t wait to see where it will take me.
