Belsonic 2024, in association with Magners Irish Cider.

Our fourth year as Magners digital marketing partner in Northern Ireland, developing a social media marketing campaign to promote their sponsorship of Belsonic Festival, amongst key target customers locally.

With Instagram being the core channel for the brand to reach and engage target audiences, our social media content and ads strategy shifted year-on-year to prioritise Reel video content, integrated with strategic influencer marketing to capture brand audience attention and drive results.

OUR APPROACH

Driving brand awareness & affiliation in Northern Ireland.

We took a Reels first content strategy approach, leveraging video and photography, as well as content shot on mobile by the Part Three Digital team, with Festival Essentials, POV: Entering the Secret Orchard and Festival Fits gaining over 16.9K engagements within June 2024.

Magners collaborated with Only Slaggin, Melissa Riddell and Moments with Jamie to support the launch of Belsonic, in association with Magners Irish Cider, creating Reel and Story content showcasing a point of view from ‘behind the scenes’ and the brand experience at the events.

27 content creators qualified as brand target audience influencers were invited to the event, with 70% posting content to Instagram.

This was paired alongside a Magners Festival Essentials gift drop from May 2024 onwards to build anticipation ahead of Belsonic. 85% of giftees shared their gift to Instagram stories tagging @magnersni.

Magners Instagram community increased by +643 (9.5%) throughout June.

Overall brand sentiment around the Magners Secret Orchard was high. This is further reflected by the 122% YoY increase in use generated content highlighting the Magners association to Belsonic is growing stronger every year.

A series of nine competitions were run on the Magners NI Instagram to reward brand fans with Golden Circle tickets to each of the gigs. Despite running one less competition YoY entries increased by 312 (14%) in 2024.
